NNIP NEWS

NNIP News is a moderated email discussion list (or listserv) maintained by the National Neighborhood Indicators Partnership (NNIP). NNIP News allows NNIP Partners and Affiliates to exchange information and ideas on the development of neighborhood-level indicators and how they can be used to bring about community change.

To subscribe to NNIP News, you must register as an NNIP Affiliate.

NNIP News provides two services to all subscribers (at no cost). First, the list moderator monitors relevant online information sources and posts particularly interesting excerpts on NNIP News in the NNIP News Flash! newsletter. These sources provide information about data sources, neighborhood indicators, community building, and public policy.

Second, NNIP News is a vehicle for exchanging information. All subscribers can ask questions, carry on discussions, and post materials from other sources they think would be of interest to the group. Appropriate topics include:

• Developing and using indicators
• Data sources
• Using information for community change
• Presenting and using data effectively
• Helping community organizations understand and use data
• Public policy issues related to community development

In addition to NNIP News, we also maintain a list of other e-mail lists that may be of interest to our Partners and Affiliates.

Subscribers to NNIP News can change their subscription options on the NNIP News Website.
